BIO Monocultivar “Gentile di Chieti”
The Oleificio Berardo through a careful selection of the olives and the careful processing of the latter, produces an extra virgin olive oil with the organic production method that excludes the use of chemical phytosanitaries. This oil has become strange from the cultivar “Gentile di Chieti”, is green with a fruity of medium intensity and good balance of bitter and spicy. This splendid MONOCULTIVAR enhances all the dishes of the regional gastronomic tradition, excellent for seasoning a rich dish with a rich and decisive taste, such as soups, legumes and bruschetta.
Organic farming for us means respecting the environment and the bond with the ancient olive trees that has always been a source of nourishment and strength for us. The harvesting of the olives by hand and the cold pressing of the juice complete the production, closing the food from the earth to the table.
The “Gentile di Chieti” is a typical Abruzzese variety present mainly in the province of Chieti. This is the rusticity and the resistance to cold also has an age of medium-late maturation, scaling with good organoleptic characteristics.
